You need hot fomentation following your massage. Place a warm towel on the face, excluding the eyes, after dipping a cotton towel in hot water. You could also give your face a warm water wash as an alternative.

Put the Anu Thailam’s container in hot water to re-warm it for a short while.

Put a soft pillow between your neck and head as you lie on your back.

Your head should be tilted back so you can easily inject oil drops into both nostrils. For the purpose of putting the oil in your nostrils, you can also enlist another person’s assistance.

Lay down until you notice oil coming to your mouth or a decongestant feeling in your nose. It might require 2 to 5 minutes. Additionally, your throat and nose will both feel mucousy. While you wait, ask someone else to massage your palms and soles.

Go to the sink right away and spit the mucus out. Spitting continues until it becomes comfortable. To get rid of all secretions from the mouth and nose, it might take 30 minutes. You might also experience some throat, mouth, and nose irritation. Within a short period of time, it will vanish.
